Olympic Day Celebration Set For This Thursday June 23 In Irvine; Free Admission For All

June 6, 2016 Olympic Day has developed into the only worldwide celebration of the Olympic Movement and is a day to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. Based on the three pillars of "Move," "Learn" and "Discover" and the Olympic Ideals of fair play, perseverance, respect and sportsmanship, NOCs are organizing sports, cultural and educational activities for all, regardless of age, gender, social background or sporting ability.

Our Olympic Day celebration will take place at Woollett Aquatic Center in Irvine, CA on June 23 from 5pm-8pm with free admission. The event will celebrate water polo and other aquatic sports, promote health and water safety, showcase Irvine's rich water polo history and promote the ideals of the Olympic Movement and upcoming 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro. Throughout the event, there will be games and activities for all skill levels in the water and on deck including the opportunity to meet and take photos with Olympians.

Hosted by USA Water Polo, this a free community event.
