USA Youth Women Bounce Back From Loss With Big Win Over Argentina

Clearwater, FL – July 13 – The USA Women’s Youth National Team bounced back from a loss to Brazil with a convincing victory over Argentina, winning 24-4 on day four of the UANA Junior Pan American Championship. Paola Dominguez-Castro and Jenna Flynn scored six goals each to power a balanced Team USA attack. Itzahaina Baca added six saves in net. Team USA takes on Canada on Saturday at 10:20am et. Team USA jumped out to a 3-1 lead after the first quarter and a 9-3 lead by halftime. They continued the offensive explosion in the third with three goals to go in front 15-4. In the fourth quarter, the United States added nine more goals to take the match 24-4. The United States went 5/8 on power plays and 2/2 on penalties while Argentina was 2/10 on power plays and did not attempt a penalty.
