USA Youth Women Race Past Argentina 17-5 For Third Straight Win In Peru

Lima, Peru - July 3 - The USA Youth Women's National Team moved to 3-0 at the UANA Youth Pan American Championship after a 17-5 win over Argentina.  Paola Dominguez-Castro scored five goals to lead the offense with Carolyn Stern and Maya Avital combining for 10 saves. For more information on the tournament, click here. Team USA jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first quarter and then went up 10-1 at halftime to take control of the game. While Argentina's offense got on track with four goals in the second half it wasn't enough to overcome the United States. Team USA went 3/7 on power plays and 1/1 on penalty shots while Argentina went 1/7 on power plays and did not attempt a penalty shot.
