    Etc: KK is a big supporter of the NAMI (National Alliance in Mental Health) organization; her sister was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder I during the Christmas holiday in 2008, and for the last two years she has organized and fundraised for a team to participate in the NAMI walk in Golden Gate Park; she's done a beautiful job representing her illness with character and campaigning to end the stigma against mental illness....For KK water polo is extra special because all her loved ones including her family, friends, and boyfriend have played, coached, or been spectators of water polo most of their lives; she is surrounded by the sport and doesn't think she could escape it if she tried...Her family is the reason why she got into water polo; since then a number of teammates and coaches have become family and keeps her playing.
