USA Cadet Women Advance To UANA Youth Pan Ams Gold Medal Game With 21-5 Win Over Brazil

Kingston, Jamaica - September 2 - The USA Cadet Women's National Team downed Brazil 21-5 to advance to the gold medal final of the UANA Youth Pan American Championship. Jewel Roemer scored six goals to lead the offense while Heidi Ritner and Zoe Banks combined for the win in net. Team USA will take on Canada on Thursday for gold medal at 1:30pm pt. Team USA took control early with a 6-1 lead after the first quarter and went ahead 9-1 at halftime. The United States tacked on seven more goals in the third quarter to go up 16-2 and then added five goals in the fourth to take the victory 21-5. 

The United States went 8/15 for power plays while Brazil went 1/3.
