Cadet Women Open Play In Edmonton With 20-5 Win Over Trinidad & Tobago

Edmonton, Canada - July 15 - The USA Women's Cadet National Team opened play at the UANA Junior Pan American Championship with a 20-5 victory over Trinidad & Tobago. Five different scorers delivered three goals each in the victory. Team USA now moves on to meet Canada on Friday evening. For complete tournament results, click here

Team USA jumped out to a 9-1 lead in the first quarter and a 12-2 lead by half. Scoring four more in the third and finishing out with the win at 20-5. Captain Bayley Weber added four assists to go along with three goals. Noelle Wijnbelt chimed in with four steals and two goals.
