Duisburg, Germany - June 29 - The USA Men's National Team continued their stay in Europe following the FINA World League Super Final with a move from Hungary to Germany. Today they opened play in Duisburg at the Four Nations Tournament with a 12-5 win over Hungary. Ben Hallock (Westlake Village, CA/Stanford/LA Premier), Max Irving (Long Beach, CA/UCLA/NYAC), Nic Carniglia (Lodi, CA/California/NYAC) and Alex Bowen (Santee, CA/Stanford/NYAC) all scored two goals in the win. McQuin Baron (North Tustin, CA/USC/NYAC) made 12 stops in net. Team USA returns to play on Saturday against Germany at 2:15pm et/11:15am pt. They'll meet China on Sunday.

Hungary went ahead early taking a 2-1 lead in the first quarter only to see Team USA score four unanswered in the second period for a 5-2 lead at intermission. Team USA outscored Hungary 3-2 in the third quarter to build an 8-4 advantage and then put the match away with four more goals in the fourth.

Both teams struggled on the advantage with Team USA going 2/12 on power plays and 1/2 on penalties and Hungary going 1/9 on power plays and 1/1 on penalties.
