USA Cadet Men Defeat Brazil 13-11 To Advance To Finals Of Junior Pan Ams

Edmonton, Canada - July 21 - The USA Cadet Men defeated Brazil 13-11 to advance to the finals of the UANA Junior Pan Ams. Tyler Abramson, Ryan Sawyer, and Luis Araya all scored three goals in the win with Sam Murphy making eight saves. They will take on Canada in the gold medal match later today at 4:50pm pt. Team USA opened up a 3-2 lead after the first period and an 8-5 lead at halftime. The two teams were even in the third scoring three goals each and the United States sealed the match in the fourth outscoring Brazil 2-0 on the way to a 13-11 victory.
