2nd Annual ODP Summit Comes To A Close

Los Angeles, CA - February 1 - The 2nd Annual ODP Summit concluded this past weekend in Los Angeles, California with over 100 coaches, referees, and administrators gathering for three days of meetings and discussions. Led by ODP Director Guy Baker along with Boys and Girls Technical Directors James Lathrop and Kim Everist the event hoped to strengthen the work that was completed in the first year of ODP.

A new wrinkle to the event this year was in the inclusion of National Team training led by the US Olympic Team coaches.

National Team Head Coaches Adam Krikorian and Terry Schroeder led their respective teams in practices with ODP attendees on hand to witness the end results of the ODP program, Olympic caliber athletes.

The Olympic Development Program serves as the primary feeder system for USAWP National Teams.  The foundation of the program is a systematic approach to athlete, coach and referee development through a year round training program that focuses on long term development.
