TRX Continues To Support USA Water Polo As Official Supplier

SAN FRANCISCO, September 8, 2011 – TRX®, the training company and creators of Suspension Training® bodyweight exercise, has announced an extension to its sponsorship agreement with USA Water Polo. Both the men’s and women’s national teams have been using TRX Suspension Training since 2010 when TRX became an official supplier to the National Governing Body, and they will continue to incorporate Suspension Training into their workouts.
Suspension Training is ideal for developing functional strength and endurance, important traits for success in the pool. TRX also increases players’ durability against injury by building joint stability, core strength, balance and flexibility. Since incorporating TRX as an important part of the U.S. teams’ training regimen, both teams have experienced success and international victories, highlighted by the women’s victory and the men’s fourth place showing at the FINA World League Super Final in June. USA claimed an incredible sixth FINA Women’s World League crown, outlasting Italy in the gold-medal match to win 9-7 and earning its third consecutive World League title.
