PowerBar Named Official Sport Nutritional Food Of USA Water Polo

Huntington Beach, Calif. – April 19, 2011 – PowerBar, a leader in the world of sport nutritional food, has entered in to a two year agreement with USA Water Polo to serve as an official supplier. As part of the agreement, PowerBar will supply the USA Water Polo National Teams with a range of products across the PowerBar platform, while also presenting the opportunity for donations back to USA Water Polo through the purchase of certain PowerBar products. The agreement spans the 2011 FINA World Championships, 2011 Pan American Games, and 2012 Olympic Games.

The USA Water Polo Women’s Senior National Team, winners of the Silver Medal at the 2008 Olympics, and 2009 World Champions, is ranked number one in the world on the heels of a Gold Medal at the FINA World Cup last summer. The USA Water Polo Men’s Senior National Team, winners of the Silver Medal at the 2008 finished the summer of 2010 ranked fourth.
