30th Annual Los Alamitos Race On The Base To Help Raise Money For USA Water Polo National Training Center

Los Alamitos, CA – October 27 - Mark your calendars and save the date for the Southland Credit Union 30th Annual Los Alamitos Race on the Base on Saturday, February 26, 2011. The race is held on the runways at the Joint Forces Training Base in Los Alamitos and features helicopters, planes and military vehicles with music throughout the course. Events include the traditional 5K Run, 10K Run, 5K Walk (timed) in cooperation with the Cancer Support Foundation, 10K In-Line Skate/Wheelchair, and Mission: Kids Run 1K, the popular Reverse Triathlon and all new this year a Junior Reverse Triathlon! Each triathlon finisher will receive a special Race on the Base dog tag finisher medal. Enjoy music, the Vendor Expo, military aircraft displays, and the expanded Friday Night Lights Family Fun Zone.
The event also helps raise money for the USA Water Polo National Training Center located on the Joint Forces Training Base.
