Orange County Water Polo & Lamorinda To Play Charity Match For Haiti This Weekend

Orange County, CA - February 24 - A powerful 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti on January 12, 2010, destroying thousands of buildings and homes. Over a million people have been affected by this devastating catastrophe. Many children, who had parents on Tuesday morning, were orphans by that night. The National Water Polo League is bringing water polo community together to help those children in need. On Saturday, February 27, 2010 at 7pm at JSerra High School, Orange County Water Polo and Lamorinda will square off.
This event will feature former National Team members, Olympians and collegiate All-Americans (see rosters below). In addition a silent auction will be held with many unique NWL products. The goal is to raise as much money as possible which will go to “Three Angels Children’s Relief”.
Three Angels Children's Relief strives to impact the lives of the most impoverished children of Haiti. Their goal is to enrich children’s bodies with food, empower their minds through education and enlarge their spirits with love and compassion. They are trying to save these children from death and give them hope for their future.
