10U Girls Competition To Move To Session Two At 2018 Junior Olympics

Nov. 22, 2017

Huntington Beach, CA - November 22 - The 2018 Junior Olympics will see a change in the schedule as for the first time the 10U Girls competition will be a part of Session 2. A part of Session 1 since the start of the competition the move to Session 2 will better suit the needs of our members and all those taking part in the Junior Olympics experience. The 10U mixed division will remain a part of Session 2 and both 10U division placements will be reevaluated after the 2018 Junior Olympics.

"This move will allow clubs, the 10U kids and their families to better coordinate schedules regarding this event and allow USA Water Polo to better allocate pool availability across both sessions of the Junior Olympics," said Ryan Cunnane, USA Water Polo Director of Events. "The world's largest water polo tournament continues to grow and we hope this move will help make the 2018 edition the best one yet."

The 2018 Junior Olympics will be held in Northern California July 21-29, 2018. More information will be available in the coming months on the Junior Olympics website at USAWaterPolo.org/juniorolympics.
