Huntington Beach, Calif. - June 11, 2013-- USA Water Polo has named Joanna Fielder Travel Manager and Phil Wooledge Development Coordinator, it was announced today by CEO Christopher Ramsey. Fielder, a former professional volleyball player with over a decade of experience in organizing domestic and international travel for athletic teams, takes on the newly created position handling all travel arrangements for the USA Water Polo National Teams and Olympic Development Program. Wooledge joins USA Water Polo from Long Beach State where he worked in the development department and will now assist Director of Advancement, Stephanie Krogius in all fundraising efforts.
Fielder joins USA Water Polo from Bring It Promotions, a volleyball team tour company and agency, following five seasons playing professional volleyball in four different countries. A four year letter winner at the University of Michigan, Fielder is an accomplished yoga teacher and managed the yoga program at the Palermo Hotel and Resort in Nicaragua for over three years. Wooledge graduated from CSULA and recently completed the Sport Management masters program at the University of San Francisco. While at Long Beach State he assisted in a variety of development events for the athletic department that saw large increases in revenue for the annual giving fund and annual 49er Classic Golf Tournament. Prior work includes time with the Oakland Raiders, the Big West Conference, and nearly 15 years of experience with The Sports Authority.
