ODP GRANT IN AID PROGRAM
1. The Olympic Development Program manages a Grant in Aid program for athletes who are unable to afford the training fee program
2. The Grant in Aid information and application is contained in the ODP Handbook and also posted on the USA Water Polo website at www.usawaterpolo.org
Notable News
1. EAST Regional Championships are coming up January 29-30 for Girls and Boys. Participating Zones are the MW, NE and SE. Please check the ODP homepage for the link to Regional Championship information.
2. Other Regional Championship dates: February 26-27 8th Grade U in Southern CA; March 5-6 Pacific Coast (Pacific, Central and Hawaii); and March 19-20 West Region.
3. National Training Selection Camp Dates: All genders and all age groups will be May 27-30 in Southern CA. ODP Coaches Summit will begin on the morning of May 27th. NTSC will be held for all age groups, 11th Grade U, 9th Grade, and 8th Grade U.

5. All zones will have open tryouts at the start of their first training weekend for all age groups. Please visit your zone homepage for dates.
6. PSW: All Girls will now be attending the ODP training sessions with the ODP SOPAC team. Please check the Sopac and PSW ODP calendars for updates and schedules.
7. Holiday Camp selections will take place at the ODP tryouts or selections can be made at age group tournaments by the Regional Director and 8th grade zone coach. For 2011 the born years will be 1998 and 1999. Information about next year’s camp will go out late Summer, early Fall.
8. Changes for Phase 3: After evaluating Phase 2 and speaking with parents and coaches across the country, ODP has made some additional changes for Phase 3. We will be implementing ODP Seasons. Please check your Zone homepage for current dates for the Phase 3 calendar. The hours have been reduced to 48. As such the fees have also been reduced to $640.
