Terry Schroeder, Head Coach,
Men's Senior National Team

USA Water Polo Hall of Famer Dr. Terry Schroeder was named Head Coach on June 18, 2007. He served as an assistant coach from 2006-2007.
Schroeder led the Men’s National Team through a resurgence in 2008 garnering Silver Medals at the FINA World League Super Final and Olympic Games. In 2009 he was nominated for the US Olympic Hall of Fame.
Dr. Schroeder is considered one of water polo’s all-time standout players. He captained the National Team from 1983-1992 and coached Pepperdine University’s men’s team for 20 years. Under Dr. Schroeder’s leadership, the Pepperdine Waves had a record of 307-195 (.612), attended the NCAA Championships eight times, and claimed the NCAA championship in 1997. Schroeder was inducted into the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame in 1998 and was recently inducted into the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
With Schroeder as US team captain, the squad finished second to Yugoslavia at both the 1984 and 1988 Olympic Games and placed fourth at the 1992 event in Barcelona, Spain. The team also captured the FINA Cup in Barcelona, downing longtime nemesis Yugoslavia in the title game.
A graduate of San Marcos High in Santa Barbara, CA, Schroeder earned All-American honors at Pepperdine in 1977, 1978 and 1980. He graduated with honors in 1981 and then completed his doctorate studies at Palmer-West Chiropractic School. Schroeder and his wife, Lori, reside in Westlake Village, CA, with their daughters, Leanna and Sheridan.
Robert Lynn, Assistant Coach,
Men's Senior National Team

Robert Lynn was named Assistant Coach for the Men’s Senior National Team in December 2007 and in the spring of 2011, Co-Head Coach of the Men’s Junior National Team. As of 2009 he is also the Head Water Polo Coach of the boys and girls at Harvard Westlake
The former head coach of USA Water Polo’s Youth National Team in 2006 and 2007, Lynn was also head swimming coach at Long Beach (CA) Wilson High School in 2006. In addition he guided the water polo teams at Marina High School in 2005 and 2006. A longtime member of the Men’s National Team program, he played on the team from 1989 to 2001 and represented the United States at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney, Australia. In that time he played professionally in countries such as Croatia, Italy, Greece, and France. His playing career spanned more than a decade running from 1991 to 2003.
Lynn played collegiately as USC where he held a scoring record for more than 20 years. In addition he played his high school polo at Long Beach (CA) Wilson where he earned All-American honors. Lynn resides in Long Beach.
Adam Krikorian, Head Coach, Women's Senior National Team

Since taking over the reigns of the Women’s Senior National Team Adam Krikorian has been just about perfect. From his arrival in 2009 Team USA has competed in four major FINA Championships and come away with the Gold Medal in all four. This includes the 2009 FINA World Championship, the 2010 FINA World Cup, a first for Team USA in 31 years, and two FINA World League Super Final crowns. He has helped the United States maintain a number one ranking in the world for the majority of his tenure thus far.
Krikorian was named Head Coach of the USA Water Polo Women’s Senior National Team on March 27, 2009. He joined the staff from UCLA where he was the Head Coach of the men’s and women’s programs for the last 10 years.
A former standout on the UCLA varsity water polo team from 1992-95, Krikorian was captain of the UCLA 1995 Men’s NCAA championship team, UCLA’s first title in 23 years. Krikorian has earned National Women's Water Polo Coach of the Year honors five times-2001, 2005-08 and also received National Men's Coach of the Year honors in 2004 after having led the UCLA men's program to its eighth overall NCAA championship. He has guided the women’s team to seven national championships, six sanctioned by the NCAA including a current string of four consecutive titles. In addition he has piloted the men’s program to three NCAA titles two of the three were as Co-Head Coach with Guy Baker.
Krikorian graduated from UCLA with a psychology degree and a business administration emphasis in June 1997. In May 2001, Krikorian married Anicia Mendez, a four-year Bruin letter-winner in varsity tennis who completed her MBA at UCLA. Adam and Anicia reside in Manhattan Beach, Calif., with their son, Jack (born July 2006) and daughter Annabelle (born June 2009).
Dan Klatt, Assistant Coach, Women's Senior National Team

Dan Klatt, a 2004 Olympian and Head Coach of the UC-Irvine Women’s Water Polo Team joined the USA Women’s Senior National Team Coaching Staff as an Assistant Coach in April 2010. Klatt led the Senior “B” Team to a first place finish at the Canada Cup in late 2009 and returned to the National Team scene after a decorated playing career.
Klatt is a 2001 graduate of UC-Irvine and helped guide the Anteaters to a Big West Tournament Championship in 2011 and an automatic bid for the NCAA Championship . He competed with the USA Men’s Senior National Team during the early 2000s and was part of the group that took home a seventh place finish at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, Greece.
Heather Moody, Assistant Coach, Women's Senior National Team

Heather Moody, a two-time Olympic Medalist and former Head and Assistant Coach of the Women’s Senior National Team was named Head Coach of the USA Water Polo Women’s Junior National Team and an Assistant Coach with the Women’s Senior National Team in April of 2010. Moody returned to the Senior Team coaching ranks, where as an Assistant Coach she helped guide the squad to a Silver Medal at the 2008 Olympic Games, after two years at California State University-Long Beach.
Moody, an inductee to the USA Water Polo Hall of Fame in 2010 departed Long Beach State following a two-year stint as Assistant Coach for the men's and women's programs. One of the dominant players for Team USA in the late 90s and early 2000s Moody earned a Silver Medal at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and a Bronze Medal at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens. In 2005, Moody served as Head Coach of the Women’s Senior National Team piloting the squad to a Silver Medal at the FINA World Championships in Montreal. From there Moody was an Assistant Coach for the Senior National Team collaborating on a World Championship in 2007 in Melbourne and a Silver Medal at the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing.
