    Frequently Asked Questions

    How does USA Waterpolo determine age?
    For Zone Qualification and National Championship purposes, USA Water Polo recognizes your age as of August 1. For ODP purposes, you are considered the age you will be as of 12/31 of that year (aka Born In Year).

    How do I verify a roster for an event?
    There are currently two processes for verifying rosters; one for sanctioned events and one for National Events, such as the Junior Olympics. The sanctioned event process can be found here. For National Events, there is a more robust process that starts with your event registration. Information regarding how to verify information for National Events will be made known to you once you register a team for a National Event.

    Roster Verification


     If you are submitting rosters for Zone Qualification Tournaments or National Championships you must login as the club administrator through the event entry system and submit a National Championship Roster to ensure that athletes meet the "Age As Of Date" and Gold level membership requirements and that Coaches meet the certification requirements set by USA Water Polo


    If you are entering an event on the national level or local level, click here to login to your member account. After logging in, scroll over the blue "Event Rosters" button on the left to create your roster.
