Clubs

USA Water Polo is the largest organization in the United States that sanctions non-scholastic water polo competition. USA Water Polo has around 500 clubs and offers multiple playing opportunities for these clubs, including our National Championships, the ability to sanction events and events on the zone level.

If you are looking to get your water polo club started, below are some instructions on registration…

New Clubs
If you wish to create a new club, download the "Club Membership Application", then fill it out and mail or fax it to our National Office.

* Your club name must be unique. If you are uncertain the name you want to use is available you can search the club database . If for some reason the name you have chosen is already being used by another club, or is too similar (as decided by USAWP), you will be contacted by the National Office before your club registration is processed.

Existing Clubs
If you are an existing club and wish to renew, there are two ways to renew...

1) Download the "Club Membership Application", fill out and mail/fax in to the National Office with payment.
2) The club administrator can log in to his/her personal USAWP Membership account and renew the club by looking within the "Club Admin Area" tab on the left column and clicking on the "Renew My Club" option.

Obtaining a Certificate of Insurance

If you are a registered USAWP club, then you are insured, but if one (or more) of the pool facilities you are using requires a certificate of insurance, there are two ways to submit a request...

1) Download the 2011 Practice Sanction Application, fill out and mail/fax to the National Office.
2) The club administrator can log in to his/her personal USAWP Membership account and renew the club by looking within the "Club Admin Area" tab on the left column and clicking on the "Practice Insurance" option.

* Please allow 5-7 business days for the processing and distribution of the certificate.

Download the Club Application and fill it out completely. Mail or fax your application to the National Office. It will take two weeks for your application to be processed.
